I'm not going to lay down a bunch of rules regarding the content of the stories found or the art work. There are a few, but these rules are more in regard to what is and is not acceptable behavior here.
Creative Endeavors
1. No plagiarism. I think this should go without saying, but it never hurts to have it in place.
2. Anything that can be deemed explict needs to have that noted in the title or description.
We'll use a rating system similar to the movie ratings (as I'm sure we're all familiar with that.)
R- An R-rating may include strong language, nudity, drug abuse, other elements, or a combination of the above.
M - This rating can be for excessive violence, sex, aberrational behavior, drug abuse or any other elements which, when present, most parents would consider too strong and therefore off-limits for children (under age 17).
These ratings will also hold for those of you that enjoy reading forums while at work, you will be aware that something in the artwork and/or fiction may be deemed as non-work friendly.
3. Authors may or may not choose to allow comments in their threads, please make note of your preferences.
4. Artwork - needs to be linked from another site.
This will not only help us enable the rating system, but will cut down on the bandwidth used.
Sites such as Photobucket and Deviatart are encouraged.
Behavior
1. No Flaming.
This is not a "rant" board. Any topic or post deemed to be such will be immediately deleted and the poster given one warning. Any further infractions of this rule will result in a suspension, two suspensions and the poster will be banned, permanently.
2. No Spam.
No warning given. If someone comes here and spams this board they will be IP banned. Period.
3. Criticism and comments are encouraged, however, be polite.
